Dev Log 2
Sleepy Frog » Devlog

- Added Collision Detection & finished Coffee Script - The player now gets 20 energy when they interact with a coffee.
- Spamming the wall jump mechanic is now punished - If the player spams the wall jump and hit a roof, they will trigger a cooldown which only deactivates upon hitting the floor again, thus ensuring that they plummet to their death or hit an obstacle should they try to spam across a wall jump section.
- Modeled the side walls - I will exclude them from the player's wall jump ability when I begin designing the level layout.
- Started a GitHub repo - All of the game's source code is now available on GitHub, linked on the game's main page.
- Added barriers to sides of level - They prevent players from scaling the level barrier walls by utilising the same cooldown bool as the ceiling cooldown. Added an additional bool to check for if the player's cooldown is being activated by the barrier or not to prevent conflict with other parts of the cooldown mechanic.
- Began building level - This log marks the start of the game's level design (in engine, rather than theory).
- Cleaned up main_scene node tree - It was a headache to look at before hand </3
